Day 3 :Marrakech => Atlas Mountains => Ait Benhaddou => Ouarzazate

Your adventure begins at 9:00 AM when your driver meets you at your Riad. From there, you will embark on a southward journey, crossing the High Atlas Mountains, which serve as a natural divide, separating Morocco into two distinct regions. As you ascend to elevations exceeding 2200 meters, you will be treated to breathtaking panoramic views. You will then follow the ancient caravan route known as the Ounila Valley, renowned for its historic Kasbahs and 14th-century architecture. Lunch will be served at the famous Telouat Kasbah, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. By late afternoon, you will pass through Ouarzazate, Morocco’s “Hollywood,” where numerous films such as Gladiator, Game of Thrones, and Lawrence of Arabia were produced. Dinner and overnight accommodations will be provided at a hotel in Ouarzazate.

Day 4 :Ouarzazate => Dades gorge => Boumalne Dades

After breakfast, the journey continues to Kalaat M’Gouna, renowned for its traditional Rose Festival. Here, you will have the opportunity to explore women’s cooperatives that produce natural perfumes, emphasizing the cultural significance of aroma in Morocco. The next destination is the Dades Gorge as you head south. Along the way, you will pass by the striking geological formation known as the “Monkey Fingers.” You will also enjoy views of beautiful oases, celebrated for their dates, figs, peaches, and almonds. The day concludes in Boumalne Dades, where you will spend the night in a charming Riad.

Day 5:Boumalne Dades => Todra Gorge => Merzouga

After breakfast, you will depart for the Merzouga Desert, leaving the Todra Gorge and heading south. Lunch will be served at a traditional restaurant. In the early afternoon, you will pass by an ancient irrigation system used for water distribution and fossil houses dating back more than 200 million years. Upon reaching Merzouga, your camel caravan will be ready to take you to the top of the dunes, where you will witness a magical sunset before arriving at your camp. Dinner under the stars, a campfire, and traditional music will be the highlights of your desert night.

Day 6 :Merzouga => Ifran => Fes

After a traditional breakfast, we will depart from the old capital, heading south. Continuing to Midelt for lunch, you will notice the landscape shifting from arid yellow to lush green. As the Middle Atlas Mountains come into view, we will reach Ifrane, often referred to as the “Moroccan Swiss City” due to its Swiss-style architecture. We will pause in a vast cedar forest to see and feed Barbary apes. Passing through Ifrane, we will approach Fes, the fourth imperial city of Morocco. Fes is renowned as the scientific and spiritual capital of the country, home to the oldest university in the world, established in 859 AD.

Day 7 :Fes Guided Tour - The Heart of Moroccan Culture

Explore the spiritual and scientific heart of Morocco with the guidance of a local expert. Begin your journey in Fes, the ancient capital, starting at the iconic Blue Gate, known locally as Bab Boujloud. As you pass through, step back in time, navigating the labyrinthine medieval medina with its narrow alleys, bustling souks, traditional crafts, and the quaint presence of mules and donkeys. Visit the historic Jewish quarter, Mellah, and marvel at the grandeur of the Royal Palace gate. Your driver will then escort you to an ancient fortress atop a hill, offering a breathtaking panoramic view of the city. On your return, explore the intricate ceramic craftsmanship dating back to the 12th century.

Continue your exploration with visits to the city’s landmarks, including Souk Seffarine, Medersa Bou Inania, and the world’s oldest university, passing by the Mosque of Quaraouin. Conclude your tour with a peaceful return to your riad, where a traditional meal awaits.

Day 8 :Fes => Chefchaouen ( The Blue Pearl )

After breakfast at your riad, immerse yourself in the rich heritage, culture, and daily life of this ancient Berber community. Pause for lunch at a distinguished restaurant en route. As early evening approaches, witness the breathtaking transformation of the landscape as both sky and earth are painted in shades of blue, signaling your arrival at Chefchaouen, known as the Blue Pearl of the North. Upon checking into your hotel, take leisurely walks through the enchanting streets, capturing picturesque scenes to cherish forever.

Day 9 :Chefchaouen => Rabat => Casablanca

Start your journey early after breakfast, traversing verdant groves on your way to Rabat, the present-day capital of Morocco and a city steeped in regal history. Explore the iconic Hassan Tower, the Mausoleum of Mohammed V, and the Kasbah of the Udayas, a majestic fortress overlooking the Atlantic Ocean. Your driver will escort you to your hotel, providing a chance to relax and reflect on the day’s captivating adventures.

Day 10 :Casablanca to Marrakech

You will visit the magnificent Hassan II Mosque, the largest and most exquisite mosque in North Africa. This is an unparalleled opportunity to marvel at a stunning architectural masterpiece that embodies the rich history and diverse influences of Morocco’s long-standing kingdom and the successive dynasties of North Africa and Andalusia.
