Full description
Meet your local guide in front of Café Argana and begin your walk through the heart of Marrakech’s Medina. Rather than following the usual sightseeing route, this experience introduces you to some of the everyday traditions that continue to shape life in the old city.
Pass through the lively Olive Market, where your guide will introduce you to the local products, customs, and daily rhythm of the Medina. Continue to Ben Youssef Madrasa, one of Marrakech’s most remarkable examples of Moroccan architecture, and discover the details that make this historic school so special.
Your walk then continues to the peaceful Secret Garden, a hidden oasis surrounded by the busy streets of the Medina.
Next, step into the world of Marrakech’s traditional community bakeries. At a local neighborhood bakery, your guide will explain how families prepare their homemade dough and bring their bread to the communal oven, a tradition that remains part of everyday Moroccan life.
After exploring these different sides of the Medina, walk back with your guide to the meeting point at Café Argana.
Would you like to add something special to your experience? You can optionally upgrade your visit with a stop at Dar el Bacha Museum, followed by the opportunity to experience the famous Bacha Coffee in its elegant historic setting.
