Full description
This five-day private route leaves Marrakech over the High Atlas by the Tizi n’Tichka pass and follows the old caravan road south to the Sahara. Your driver-guide stays with you from the first morning to the last drop-off, and a licensed local guide takes over on foot in the Fes medina.
On the way you stop at the ksar of Aït Benhaddou, spend a night in the Dades valley, walk into the Todra gorge and reach Merzouga in time to ride out to camp in the Erg Chebbi dunes. After sunrise the road climbs through the Ziz valley to Fes, where you have a full day in the old city before continuing to Meknes and back to Marrakech or the airport.

Day 1Marrakech to Dades Gorge
Your private transport meets you at 9:00 at Marrakech airport or your accommodation. Over the High Atlas to the Kasbah of Telouet, the Kasbah of Ait Benhaddou (UNESCO) and the film studios of Ouarzazate, then a walk in the Dades Gorge canyons.
